With great pride and special emotion, the Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy marks the 50th anniversary of its founding. This significant event represents a long and successful journey in advancing the sciences of mining and metallurgy, shaping and educating generations of engineers and experts in the field.
Over these five decades, the Faculty has made substantial contributions to the technological and industrial development of the country, bringing innovations and advanced solutions to the mining and metallurgy industries. Our students have been, and continue to be, excellent ambassadors of knowledge and professionalism in both the national and international job markets.
